Dr. Joacim Näslund has begun his postdoc financed by by the SoWa research infrastructure. He completed his PhD studies at the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences, University of Gothenburg, Sweden in 2015. His main research interest is behavioural ecology of aquatic animals, in particular fish and freshwater invertebrates. He has been involved in research spanning several areas from animal personality to antipredator behaviour and environmental effects on fish growth. His current project carried out in the group of David Boukal will investigate the impacts of anthropogenic stressors on freshwater invertebrates in pond ecosystems.
